Grinding unit is constructed of cast iron and coated with lead-free tin for food handling applications. Adjust the thumbscrew on the grinding unit to change the plate gap from 1/4in open to nearly closed. Select fine or coarse grinding plate. Grinding plates and feeds are made of durable iron alloy. Use the tooth feed (included) for dry materials and the worm feed (optional) for wet or oily materials.
