Nylon membrane filter options Nylon membrane filters are hydrophilic, flexible, tear-resistant, and autoclavable. They are resistant to a range of organic solvents and suitable for use with high pH samples. Nylon binds proteins, which makes it unsuitable for protein recovery applications.
