Eppendorf Cap Strips provide easy and rapid sealing of Eppendorf twin.tec® PCR plates, PCR tubes and other standard multiwell plates. Each strip has eight PCR caps for use on 0.1 mL and 0.2 mL wells.

PCR Cap Strips can also be used in real-time PCR (qPCR) assays. In this case it is recommended to use flat capped strips or Masterclear® strips for maximal transparency. If you encounter evaporation and sample loss, domed caps can be used to provide a tighter seal when using a heated lid. Eppendorf Cap Strips can be sterilized by autoclaving for 20 minutes at 121 °C.

All Eppendorf Cap Strips are ‘PCR clean’, having been batch-tested and certified by an independent laboratory to be free of a range of common PCR contaminants, including DNA, DNAse, RNAse, and PCR inhibitors. With twin.tec PCR plates you’ll have maximum confidence in your results.
