The graduated polypropylene (PP) microcentrifuge tubes offer an alternative to 15-mL conical tubes for applications involving volumes less than 5 mL. The smaller tube size allows only the pipette tip to be inserted, reducing risk of contamination.
Easy-to-open attached cap eliminates hand fatigue and maintains sample integrity. Use frosted marking area for tagging and identification. The tubes can withstand autoclaving to 248°F (120°C) for 15 minutes at 15 psi, and are suitable for freezing to –130°F (–90°C).
