All blocks are made of anodized aluminum (except 36610-43). Most blocks feature a thermometer hole to let you easily monitor block temperature. Order a flexi-block to accommodate multiple size tubes, vials, or cuvettes at once. Flexi-blocks use autoclavable high-density ceramic beads and are available in two sizes—double or triple width. Unskirted PCR plates can be heated in either size flexi-block. Skirted microtiter plates, deep-well plates, and PCR plates can only be incubated in the triple-width version.
